For all those lone parents who have gone back to work, how is it working out for you? How much better off are you? How is childcare working for? Are you happy?

hi

Childcare is great - i started him one day a week before going back to work 3 days.

Work is OK but you realise how many extra hours you used to do when you now have to leave bang on time to get to nursery for pick up. I have had to rely on family occasionally to cover when he's been sick. Also I find work far more stressful (think I have a guilt complex - constantly worried Im dropping the ball)

Thank you for your reply, can you explain more about your guilt complex, your worries?
