How long are MA applications taking to process these days?

When I was pg with DD I turned in my application at 28 weeks and at 36 weeks I still had nothing! When I phoned the MA office, they hadn't even looked at my application as it was "in a queue". I contacted my MP and oddly enough it was sorted less than 2 weeks later .

Anyway, this time I am not starting leave until 34-36 weeks. Can I still submit my application at 28 weeks? And how long have people been waiting for things to be processed lately?

You can send the form when you are 25 weeks.
I sent mine when I was 25 weeks and got a response within 2 weeks, they sent me a form to send back when I started maternity leave.
This was only 10 weeks ago
