Paid for Bank Holidays

Hi

I'm negotiating my return to work. We are paid for 8 days bank holiday leave a year. Now, everywhere I've read says that you should accrue holiday in the usual way through maternity leave. But, please can someone point in the direction of the actual section of statute that says this? I may need to quote it at HR.....
