What's the going rate for typing?

Someone has asked me to do some typing for them. It would be formal letters and things for a business and I'd be doing it at home. Anyone got any idea what sort of fee I should charge?

We pay teenage babysitters £4 or £5/hour. At work in central London in an investment bank, we pay secretaries £12-13/hour. So, somewhere between the two. Ask for £8, be prepared to accept £6.50?
