how to be a counsellor?

Hi,
I'm currently a SAHM but would like to go back to work particularly when the kids get to school. I don't want to do what I did before I had children. I've always been interested in counselling and would love to know what I would need to do to re-train in this. Are there any good websites I could find out information on? (Googling not helping really).
Thanks in advance

I looked at the OU course but it isn't BACP accredited and that is the 'gold standard' for counselling and psychotherapy courses.
