If you are on maternity leave, are you still eligible to receive market supplements that are usually paid monthly, in addition to salary?
I work in an area where it is hard to recruit or retain staff. This supplement is in effect a retention bonus.
I work for a large organisation and have spoken to HR and Payroll and have had conflicting responses. My manager does not know either.
I was informed that you are automatically entitled. I was then informed that you receive it pro-rata, according to the level of maternity pay you are receiving, to a straightforward no.
Can anybody shed some light?
