Can i claim JSA?

My partner is just about to enter full time employment. Can i claim JSA while he is working?.

Are you are unemployed, available for work (can arrange childcare within whatever the given timescale is) and looking for a job? If you are, you can make a claim for benefit but you might not get any money - depending on when you last worked and paid NI. If you claim contribution based JSA it doesn't matter what savings you have or if your DP is in work or not.
