Hi, i was made redundant a few weeks ago from a tax adviser role where i have been since uni (7 years). I have an interview coming up and wondered if any one out there is a tax adviser and has any thoughts on what technical questions they may ask me.

Thanks

is it a personal, corporate or VAT role?

I'm a PT specialist - maybe Entrepreneur's Relief, tax efficient remuneration structures, trusts, planning ideas around the 50% band/loss of allowances, possibly anti-forestalling if it's a compliance role

Hi. Thanks for the reply, its a mixed personal and corporate role. Thanks for the tips.

I have done mostly compliance in the past but this role will contain some planning so any further points for me to think about would be great.
