Can you do something along the lines of acting as an agent for British expats over there? i.e. sorting out permits, connection of services etc?

Teach English?

My mum's done this and her Italian isn't fluent either

MaryP0p1 · 18/11/2005 15:36

I'm doind a bit of it but don't particualrly like teaching adults.

I have just started a English toddler group to teach Italian children English.

Where is your Mum

Start an English language version of La Jolie Ronde in this country? You know, little songs and action games teaching basic fun English to the under 5s?

My niece does TEFL in Hong Kong and only had to do a short training course before she started (of course English is used there anyway but I think the kids she teaches speak Chinese at home) - what sort of place do you live in, is it big enough to have foreign language schools?

We're not so far away, In le Marche on the coast

Pruni, I like that idea, I could do it both ways. Italian to England and visa versa.

Le Marche is an up and coming area for Brits buying property there I think. Could be a demand for an English speaker who knows the ropes ... ?
