Childminding as a career change

Hey,

I am returning to work in Sept. Im wondering if becoming a childminder myself might work for our family. I looked up NCMA but my local gov website wasnt so clear in what I had to do to be qualified or what it might cost. Does anyone know or could you help me further please with other useful places to research?

Im looking to requalify alongside the present job then fully switch when suitable.

the childminding board on here has loads of past threads on becoming a childminder and is v helpful board in general - your local coucil should have someone to talk to about it as well
