Resigning!!!

I'm going to resign tomorrow.

I have to give a months notice.

I think I will be asked to leave straight away. If this happens, I take it they still have to pay me my notice period?

Yes they still have to pay you - officially you are still working for them, even if they don't want you to turn up and do anything.

Yes they should pay you for the period of notice stated in your contract especially if they do not want you to stay. Also any holiday pay that you have accrued. I have been through all this so if you need a shoulder etc I will be happy to listen

Thanks. I am dreading it!!!! My boss can be a bit nasty, hoping I get to say goodbye to my work colleagues, they are great, its just the company that is rubbish!!!

DH resigned 2 weeks ago but has to work 3 months notice and his boss is a complete arse Sad
