has anyone got any good advice about returning to work and coping with being seperated from wonderful baby daughter and teenage son doing gcse's

i dont want to be apart from them

plus I hate the job, travelling - have to do at least 3 months to keep additional maternity pay

but in reality i cannot afford not to work

also feel i wont be up to the job any more

it would be a difficult job for some one with no kids

I know this sound mad but my colleagues didnt even send me a card or anything. I was really hurt by this and dont think i can forgive them

Used to being out all day while kids are at school. Plan stuff to do afterwards when I know I'm in for a difficult day, helps day go by. What do you do?

Can see why you don't feel like going back - and you have to help son get organised for gcse's - what fun. Just had A level open evening - yawn. It's a while since they were babies so can't help much there. Sure you'll be more than busy - lots of juggling.
