probation query...

dh started a new job on 5 sept and had a probationary period of 3 months. Seems to be going really well but due to my panciky nature (following let downs with previous jobs), do you have to be told your not doing too well before the end of your probation or can they just turn round at end of period and say thanks you great you can stay or thanks get out?

I would have thought that a good employer should be having meetings with your dh to ensure that any issues are highlighted early.
Could your dh ask for a meeting to check in??

I have been in a job where someones probation was extended to see if they bucked up but they were really slack most peoples probation just end without being notified

I think everything is ok. Dh seems to think so. they even took him out for a drink at the end of his first months as he had made more sales than anyone!

Helsi I would say that he is doing fine then!!
