I'm in my late 40s, and have worked freelance since having children more than ten years ago. My work has dwindled in the last couple of years.
Now the children are older, I'd like to get back to work in a thriving field. I've been looking at transferable skills, and feel that medical writing would be the ideal new career.
How do you get into it? I feel I need to take some sort of respectable course to show my intent and to refresh my rusty skills. Can anyone recommend any such courses? Am I too old?
Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thank you!
