Anyone used the PAXTON accounts software?

I have posted this in "Geeky stuff" but no response yet, so hope someone over here can help me.

Has anyone used it and what do you think of it? I can find very little on the internet about it. If you google it there's lots of links to the Paxton website, but nothing else really.

I'd love to hear your stories. I am totally neutral - well, I'm not really, but will listen to others who have experience!

Many thanks

Just so you don't go unanswered - no! But I have used VT Transaction+ which I found easy. Is it for your business or for clients?

Thanks Offline. Grin

A colleague at work is trying to get the business to buy "Paxton". I think this is because he is totally incompetent at using Sage, which we use at the moment. I cannot fault Sage and dont want to get rid of it. I have been qualified in using it and have more years experience than I care to mention! Wink
I was hoping someone would come along and say - "Its rubbish, don't do it!!" The fact nobody is using it is another argument against it in my books!!

Their charities product is used in parts of that sector, but I didn't even know they had a business product.

Switching accounting software is not something to do on a whim. If switching from Sage (line 50 I assume) I would look at TAS first.

Should have said I haven't actually used it myself.

Thanks MrAnchovy. I really dont want to change! I love Sage, am competent at what I do and I really dont see any advantage to any other system when we have it all set up, running well, historical records on it and a full working knowledge of it. I am trying to get together a strong argument for the status quo!! Wink
