Can I do any hours for the same trust I work for, on the bank, without it affecting SMP?

I spoke to a lady who works on the Bank and she said I could do under 16 hours per week and still receive SMP but advised me to check with payroll for the detail. Haven't done this yet but will on monday. Does anyone know the rules?

Also the 10 KIT (Keep in Touch) days.....I can do regular shifts can't I? I'm presuming these days are not just training related i.e. if I were needed to work night shifts then I could do 10 nights as KIT days without it affecting my SMP?

I thought the only work you could do while on mat leave were you KIt days. Those can be used for regular work and not just training.

Would be interested to hear what your payroll have to say as being able to work 16 hours a week would massively enhance SMP!

I think it is just KIT days.
