Does my EDD change if i am booked in for an ELCS?

I know that might sound a stupid question but EDD is 25 June. I have just been booked in for an ELCS on the 15 June due to health reasons. I had already booked that my last day of work before mat leave was going to be 11 June so i don't think that needs to change but do i need to inform work that I am now due to have baby earlier than EDD (or just say that EDD has now changed)?

I think it's only if the baby comes before your mat leave starts that it has an impact cause you mat leave will auto start whatever date the baby comes then.

No, they don't need to know

No - advice received on here with known delivery of 3 weeks before EDD was no difference for statutory/pay purposes

No. I was booked for ELCS due to breach baby on 22nd December then the little bugger turned and it was cancelled with 48 hours to go and she ended up arrriving on 21st January. Didn't start maternity in the end till 1st Jan.
