How do you find a jobshare?

There's next to no jobs advertised as part time for my kinds of roles - so I would ideally like to find a jobshare- but how should I go about finding one?? If you apply for a job should you ask to jobshare- but then how do you know if anyone else is applying as a jobshare? Should you find someone else to share the job first - but how do you find this person?! Tis a minefield! Do employers want to employ 2 people in a jobshare?

I applied for a job offering more hours than I wanted but in the interview explained that I would prefer fewer hours if possible. It worked for me - I only do 15 hours a week.

The extra hours were given to someone else who applied.
