what are the full time hours?

I don't know what full time hours are, I am self employed but thought that 40 was the norm but my SIL says 35.

If the salary range you've been given is for full time hours you are not going to be able to work out how much you'd get until you've found out what the full time hours at the company are. In some places it's 40, some it's 37.5, some it's 35 or whatever, so the calculation would come out very differently.
