Is anyone a member of a Women's Business Network and if so would they recommend? I am a professional in London looking to cultivate more clients

City Women's Network is a good one, and there are plenty more women's networks based around specific professions. Depends what industry you are in as there aren't (to my knowledge) any networks that are aimed across multiple industries.

What kind of services do you offer and who would be your ideal client?

I'm a member of 3 different women's groups (mainly because they tend to be at convenient times of day for those with small children rather than breakfast/early evening). I find them all to be different, some better than others in terms of work generation, although networkiing is always a slow burn anyway.

I'm a lawyer working usually with SMEs - more usually small then medium!- I suppose I am not just looking at cultivating clients but also in just chatting with other working women ( I am in minority at work) and comparing experiences etc.

Thanks for the posts, I looked at City Women's Network but it seems too City orientated, as I am just outside the City and although I would probably (just about) qualify for entry it's not really the Network I was looking for.
Any other ideas?

An aquaintance of mine runs this network group. I haven't actually attended any but thought it might be of interest to you.

Women in Business Network

The Women's Business Clubs

I'm a member of local groups of these two organisations. Both very different, but I get a lot out of both - might be worth seeing if there are groups near you?
