I am typing this in the loo at work. Won't be able to look at replies till later, but thanks in advance.

I got made redundant in feb and found this new job straightaway. But I hate it. It's a bullying, autocratic culture, and I want to leave.

If I leave and look for another job (don't need to sign on or anything) could I miss this off app forms and CV totally? Would any future employer know I'd been here for 6 weeks? I will get v good references from previous two employers but not from here, so I want to leave and pretend it never happened.

My advice would be to put it on your CV. You will need to provide your P45 with a new employer which will show that you had worked for this Company and might cause your new employer to wonder why you lied & not trust you.

Thank you for replying. As well as it being a horrible place to work, it's a completely different field from where I have worked in the past, and where I want to work in the future. I also took a paycut of appx 6k, so when I'm filling in application forms and they ask for current salary, I don't feel it reflects my value. (sorry, that sounds arsey, but YKWIM)

If I left now, and excluded it from my CV, would I need to give future employers my P45 or could I complete a P46 instead.

If theres no way to hide it, how do I spin it at interviews - both the fact that I'm looking again so soon, and the fact that I'm underearning. Thanks.
