i have a BSc Psychology and an MSc Research Methods but have been working in the public sector since graduating. As part of my job (about 10%) I have to be involved in training and have helped developed and run analytical training courses, and have also been involved in Business Change issues.
I'm not very happy in my job at the moment (the main part of it) but I do enjoy the bits I do as above. I'm wondering if a career in Occupational Psychology would be right for me. I can't afford a full on MSc at the moment but I was looking today at the BPS website and they offer an equivalent qualification (though it is very self directed and they offer no tutoring or support you just get a reading list and pay for the exams). Anyone have any experience of this or can tell me about Occupational/organisational psychology?
