lost p60, does it matter?

i have misplaced my husbands P60 from last year, is it important he get's another copy or does it not matter?
i'm usually very organised but i have no idea where it has gone and i'm worried he may need it one day (knowing our luck)

If he can get another copy from work then ask them for one but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

If he is self employed / does a self assesment then its more important.

He can just ask work to provide a copy, I lost both of ours and replaced them within the week.
