Anyone bought an A3 printer?

I need a black-and-white A3 printer for my work, but they are extortionate (£1500 min). Does anyone know where I can get one more cheaply?

There aren't any consumer A3 laser printers so it is going to cost you that, plus a fortune to keep it running.

A3 inkjets can be had for about £100, does it need to be a laser? Can you print to A4 and enlarge it on an A3 copier? Can you use a print service like ServicePoint?

Have you spoken to someone about leasing one? That's what we did when I worked for someone else and it was something like £40 a month plus 2p a copy (from what I remember). All ink and maintenance included.

I have an ancient Epsom A3 printer (bought, ummmm, 10 years ago?)... a stylus something. Worth looking out for something like that on ebay? It has been brilliant for me and lasted really well (still going, though not totally failsafe any more...)

this one is cheaper still.....

Brilliant - it hadn't even occurred to me to do leasing or ebay or Servicepoint. Will look into all those options. I thought I should have a laser printer because I will be printing 200 odd pages at a time, but maybe an inkjet would do. I am just not sure how fast they print.

Many thanks to you all.
