Rubbish at working out tax and namechanged as well. Apologies, am hoping one of you lovely ladies will be better than me at this!

Currently am in the 40% tax bracket and get £200 a month in childcare vouchers, as part of the government scheme. The voucher scheme website calculator reckons I currently make a monthly saving of £82.

Am due to leave my job soon, so when I leave and then start up the vouchers again when I get a new job, how much worse off am I going to be in relation to the government's changes on 6th April? This is based on same salary and value of vouchers.

thanks!

Your weekly tax free amount will be reduced from £55 to £28 if you are a higher rate tax payer.

So £11.58 worse off per week in tax.

thanks so much, Grevling. Not the greatest news, but good to know.
