Work, be a good mother, and a good wife ?
Or will we always feel we are failing at some/all of it ?

we'll only feel we are failing if we give in to guilt!!

until I had dd was always v into giving myself "bad cop" so to speak and feeling guilty about not being perfect. having dd made me put it all into perspective and realise that as long as she's happy and healthy, the rest really doesn't matter so much.

oh, and a good cleaner helps me (I do live on a farm so that is very much needed!!)

oh - just thought - if we didn't try to "do it all" would we be aiming high enough?? hmmm

fair point...i am after all setting a good example to my children i hope.
i just worry how you can have a good enough relationship with your children if you never see them
