HELP Pregnant again

I just found out i am pregnant again, my baby is 6 months old and im due to go back to work 1st August after a whole year off, my baby is due on 7th October, i was not going to go back to work as i needed part time work and they do not want me part time. I don't know whats going to happen my work place will not be happy about me being pregnant again. I don't know whether i should tell my work im pregnant and that i want another SMP and i don't know if they could even let me or will they just sack me. I know i will ask my maternity leave to start 1st Aug then i wont need to go back at all. but i don't know if ill get maternity pay and if i don't what do i do then?? any1 been in a similar situation?

I don't believe you'll qualify for SMP but you will get MA which is the same just without the 6 weeks at 90% instead they are £124/week for those weeks.

You don't need to be employed to get this but recently employed so you could leave on 1st Aug and still claim this if you don't want to go back.

Your employer can't just fire you but if you don't want to go back unless you got any additional payments you would't be worse off by leaving at end of mat leave.
