HI can anyone refresh my brain? I start my new postion as office manager and have been out of the game for a while and I'm panicing as I think I have forgotten how to be a manager any tips to refresh on how to be!

If I was you being out of the game for a while don't do anything rash at the start. Spend the first two weeks listening before you change anything. Get to know everyone and ask them to show you what they do, don't assume anything.

What I did when I started my current management job was meet everyone individually and ask them what they thought needed to be changed and what should I not change.

It allowed me to gather a quick understanding of the business and its strengths and weaknesses; get staff on my side and make it look like I was doing something while I got my head round my new job.
