Any beauty therapists around?

I have been a SAHM for 4 years and am getting ready to return to work when DD1 starts school. I have 23 years experience in hairdressing and then went into office work. After school I did a 5 year apprenticeship for hair ( no paperwork to show for it!) and I enjoyed it but when I became self employed after 10 years I worked myself into the ground and the long hours got me down. The easiest thing would be to do a refresher course but I fancied another feather in my cap.
I want to offer treatments that are covered by NVQ2 and also feel drawn to massage. Question is - do I do NVQ2 beauty therapy at adult ed one day a week and not be qualified for a year, then do the VTCT in swedish massage or should I do a fast track courses (not sure if the qualifications are nationally recognised). Would you also advise a separate anatomy and physiology qualification?

I'm off for a bath now as I have spent most of today hunched over the laptop looking at courses, missing the obvious source of all knowledge - Mumsnet!

Any help out there?
