as above really, just feeling sorry for myself, so thought would wallow on here a bit too! - feel free to ignore me!

Have trib in a couple of weeks for unfair dismissal case, and received a bundle of docs from my sols today, which included some docs from the other side. One of them was the handwritten notes from my interview (which i was unsuccessful in). Just found it all a bit upsetting to read, as its all so subjective, and am now worried that even though I thought I had a really strong case, that the tribunal will believe my snake-in-the-grass employer.

Sorry, pointless rant really, am just wavering now as finding the whole process draining and upsetting. They have offered one figure to settle, but i have turned down, wonder now if that was the right thing to do.

Bah!

You might find they offer right before the tribunal. What does your sol think?

Why was it upsetting?

And yes what you are going through has to be tremendously stressful!

thanks, i will feel better about it all tomorrow I hope. Just found it upsetting this morning as it brought back what was a pretty horrid time (they really treated a number of good people in a calculatingly nasty fashion).

Sol advised me to turn down first offer, but now wants me to indicate I would accept another figure a little higher. My gut feeling (despite me wanting it to all go away right now!) is that's too low and not a fair reflection.

But I can be the type of person who gets hung up on fairness and what's "right" whereas perhaps I need to be more pragmatic as any money would be very useful right now.
