Feeling a bit stuck! Been a sahm for 6 years and the last company I worked for went under about a year after I left. I have no contact details for my then employer or the company I worked for prior to them as they too have disappeared (nothing to do with me, I hope 
). Really want to return to work but the jobs I have been interested in insist on professional references. All I can offer is character references from friends/family which I know just wont do. Any advice would be much appreciated.
