Feeling a bit 
and wallowing a bit but I went for an interview nearly 2 weeks ago. It was in my old line fo work (been off for a few years). Got a very positive vibe from the interview, I though it went well, I answered all the questions well and had a good feeling about it. They talked in a positive way, etc. They didnt say how long it would be before I heard. Since then I have heard nothing. I sent an email 2 days ago to ask politely what the outcome was and still not heard. Its a very specilaised area of work so I doubt there would have been that many people going for it. Just need a bit of sympathy and advice on my next move. It was the only job avaialble in the area I used to work in so was an important interview for me. I am struggling to see how I screwed up so much that they would now ignore me or I woudln't have seen retrospectively. The only thing I can think of is at the end I commented on how lovely the shoes of the interviewer was {blush] as I had seen them the day before in a shop. I am slightly mortified at that. Was very nervous. 
Having thought about it that was a twatty thing to do.
