Becoming a fitness instructor

Hello,

I am currently working ft in a job that I would be 'mad to leave'. However I am looking for an exit strategy so I don't have to go back after my second child. (I am not preggers yet!!But planning to be in around two years time). I love fitness and teach for a living. So I thought I would combine the two.

I was thinking of training to be a fitness instructor. I have been looking at the YMCA exercise to music course.

Is this the best course to do or is there a more respected training provider?

I would be really grateful for any advice.
Thanks so much

Not an expert, but my friend looked into this and found that the YMCA exercise to music qual is what all the instructors at our local council leisure centre have.

Have you looked at Les Mills too? The instructors at my old gym in London were all Les Mills.

Good luck, I would love to do that too!
