Has anyone got any advice for changing career direction completely after several years "off" raising children?
It seems that I'm either over qualified or under qualified for recent applications. During the years inbetween my last full-time, paid job and now, I've helped my husband establish his business and created and sold two retail businesses. This experience doesn't appear to "count" for much and that's frustrating given that I'm now a much "rounder" human being compared to the cold, automatron I was before.
My husband works wherever his work takes him so I need to find something that will fit with school routine, holidays and the potential to work from home. Am I just looking for something that doesn't exist and asking too much from potential employers to accept that family has to come first?
