Possible temp work and a hospital date

I'm waiting for an interview for some temp work, expected to last 3 months.

However, I've received a call from the hospital this morning with an operation date for 6 weeks time. I've waited a year for this so there's no way I will postpone it but do I mention it at the interview or not?

I won't know how long I'll be out of action for until the op is over; I'll be in hospital for between 3 days and a week.

The work will suit me so I don't want to scupper my chances but would I be lying by omission?

Help please!

Do you need any recovery time other than the 3days to a week.

If not just tell them your on holiday that week.

If it's the 3 day, then probably need a week, if not then God knows.

I think it's laparoscopic surgery vs laparotomy, won't know 'til they start slicing. Dsis has has one and it resembles my CS scar

Anyone else have any advice please?
