STILL SEE MY EX-BOSS/SUPERVISOR

I still sometimes pass the shop where my ex-boss/supervisor work. I left on bad terms with them. How should I act when I see them? Should I go in and buy something as this is a well-known card shop? MIL and Husband think I should as they sometimes go in there and they said for me to go in with them.

Why would you?

I sometimes have to because of where my local supermarket is so when I pass I see them. When my MIL and Husband go in I just wait outside which is why they say for me to go in with them.

I agree with hairylights. If you feel awkward and don't want to go, then don't go. You can buy cards anywhere, or make your own!

If you want to make things difficult for them, though, do go in!
