Does anyone know a journalist?

Hi,
I am about to go to employment tribunal against a well known household name for being made redundant while on mat leave. There are some juicy details that would make a good story. I am looking to get in touch with the right journalist(s) who would be interested in this sort of story.

Is anyone able to help and suggest names?

Thanks!

You have to ask? On Mumsnet? The place is crawling with them. Just keep bumping this up until you get PMd.

I agree that Mumsnet is crawling with journalists & would be surprised if you haven't been PMd already!

If not, I don't know her, but Gabby Hinsliff (used to be politics editor at the Observer I think) who blogs at usedtobesomebody.blogspot.com freelances on a lot of family/maternity stuff. She might be interested.

Friend of mine is a journalist on a national. PM me if you want her email address.

I strongly strongly advise you against doing this.

It can work against you in front of a Tribunal if you are talking to the press. What is reported is not under your control and it could make you look bad and undermine your case.

If your case is of public interest it will be reported widely anyway. In that case you will be pestered incessantly for interviews.
Dont give interviews to anyone or quotes or even talk to friends. Focus on giving your evidence and the case.

I have name changed for this.
