a garment presser ?

job ad asks for an experienced garment presser in a suit hire shop. I do the ironing , does that count
would i really need experience ?

I used to do garment pressing years ago, and unless it's changed, it was basically ironing seams flat/ironing clothes into place.

They had huge steam irons, and we stood at ironing boards all bloody day, enveloped in steam, pressing clothes.
