Anyone know about benefits?

I have applied for a job as a benefits adviser for a charity after many years at home and need to swat up on benefits. Can anyone point me in the direction of a website that just lists all the benefits available and what each one is, who can apply etc. All the sites that I have found are for people working out their own claims I can't find one that just lists them all.

Try Direct Gov site.

I don't think there is a site that lists them all, though.

Although if you have no knowledge or experience in terms of benefits, and are not up to date, I am wondering why you've applied Confused.

I did do a similar job before I left to have my children but my knowledge is out of date and I wanted to swat up a bit.

Ah! As I say I'm not sure if there is one site for all but try directgov and search it for bebefits for
pension credits
jobseekers
disabilities
housing bebefit
council tax benefit
benefits for parents
etc

and you should come up with a lot of stuff you can print off.

Remember benefits and entitlements will change soon so perhaps keep an eye on the site for updates.
