Evening :) I work for a very small event cinematography company. I do a bit of editing and most of the admin, part of which at the moment involves setting up the ability to accept payment online.

We have a shopping cart wtih photobiz.com which gives a few options for online payment but I think the only two you can use in the UK (it's a US site) are Paypal and Pay Pro Flow (or Pay Flow Pro Blush).

Does anyone have any experience of using either who could give me any tips? I'm kind of leaning towards Paypal because I think it's recognisable and therefore reassuring but am a complete novice at this kind of thing.

Ta :)

DH's website has a paypal module page written for us by Simon of UK SiteBuilder
works a treat

Have a look at Eddie's stuff as well
auctionchex.com/

BTW both of them know me by both this and my real name!

I think Paypro Flow is the shopping cart integration product of Paypal not a separate payment system so that reduces the choice to 1!

I use paypal and like that it's universally accepted as a safe way to pay. I've never had a customer ever have a problem with Paypal, and I accept payments from all over the world.

Having said that I noticed that you missed Sage Pay off your list, I think they have a good name for a UK plan.

Thanks for the replies (and mranchovy that made me chuckle, thanks Grin)

Nova Sage isn't an option with photobiz.com.

Suppose I should have a look at the respective rates etc for Paypal but it's sounding like a good bet unless it's stupidly expensive.
