flexible hours

Hi I am new to this and was wondering if anyone has any advice or help, I am a single mum of 2 children, my 15 year old is registered Disabled, I work 13 hour night shifts(not my choice) getting child care is a nightmare, I have applied for flexible working, and was told No at first, I pushed a little more afer that last Nov and since the I have been told they will get back to me, I have heard nothing and feel at breaking point, any one got any advice, Murrey

Hi, it's not clear as to whether you have made a formal request, in writing, or whether you have just verbally asked?

There us a time frame within which they have to deal with formal requests... Check out directgov website and show them the rules!
