How bad do I feel ...?

I had a horrid day at work, came home feeling utterly drained. DS2 was being irritating and I really shouted at him and told him off.
No doubt taking on him my frustrations from the day.

Later on he said to me: "Mummy, tomorrow, can you just take it easy at work?"

How bad do I feel?

Awww, on the bright side, he knew that it wasn't that he had actually upset you, and that it was work

That's quite sophisticated emotional blackmail

smart boy - how old is he?

Whizzz · 07/10/2005 19:19

Isn't it dreadful when that happens. My DS did the same 'you need a cuddle mummy' - then I knew it was time to chill out & de-stress

He's 6

He's exhausted - too many late nights recently; exciting fun-packed time at school. I don't know how we're all going to get through the next 2 weeks before the hols!

The only glimmer of hope is that my yr 11s are off on work experience all next week, which might help a bit!

Sorry, that didn't make a lot of sense! The "he's exhausted" bit, related to the fact that he was actually being quite badly behaved in a tired, grumpy, irritable, irritating, whingy, whiny sort of way!
