Hiya all,
Just thought I'd let you know about an event we're running about being a working mum in media (specifically radio).
It's going to be held this week in London and is a joint event with Young Women Working in Media and the radio industry's charitable body, The Radio Academy.
The panel will be hosted by Sandy Warr, Chair of The Radio Academy's London Events Committee, and joining her on the panel will be Natasha Desborough (writer and broadcaster), Lisa Kerr (Director of Strategy, RadioCentre) and Nemone Metaxas (Presenter, BBC 6 Music).
We?ll hear about their varying experiences of motherhood and what advice they?d pass on to the next generation. What challenges did they face and what can be done to help working families balance their work and home lives?
This session is aimed at anyone who works (or wants to work) in radio or the media and also wants to have a family, or who has a story of their own to share.
Date: 19th January ? 6pm for 6.30pm start
Venue: The Gibson Building, 19-35 Rathbone Street, London, W1T 1NJ
