Can I have your opinion? For a buisness make up

Hello just wondered if I could offer people in a shop environment the chance to make their own lipstick, eyeshadow, foundation and nail varnish to any shade you want and you know whats gone in it (ingredient wise)with help off advisors would you like something like that? It could be you make it for a present for someone or you make it for your self or you and friends come in for a bit of fun? I was thinking of adding a coffee shop to it was well so you could have a drink after or whilst waiting.
So you would come in by appointment be allocated a work station and an advisor who would show you how to make it and then you get a unlimited choice of colours/glitters ingredients to choose from but can only use say 4 or 5. Your make your eyeshadow or whatever then get to choose a container to put it in and wrapped if a present does that sound like a good idea? Im looking for any feedback thanks

Personally, no, sorry :( theres so much choice out there make-up wise already I think you'd probably struggle to find enough customers, coffee shop with added "service" of some sort IS a good idea though, but not sure thats the best 1

Why not go for 'design your own perfume/' instead?

A couple of perfumers(mainly in London) do it, but it is horrendously expensive.

Tailor it for the 'Claire's Accessories' crowd, and you might have a winner!

Thanks for your feedback Im just looking into it really and have made some make up its quite good to do. I think the perfume thing is a great idea but yep a claires accessories crowd it would be! Thanks for the feedback though.

I love the Perfume idea too, I can see that one being very popular, especially if you can use some sort of photoshop labeling system so that people can actually name there own Perfumes too, it would make great gifts, & I can really see it appealing to the "sleb" hungry teen crowd....good luck with whatever you do decide :)
