It's only been 4 months since I went on maternity leave, my DP was been laid off on Friday which resulted in us making the decision that he would stay at home to look after dd (12wo) while I get back to work, spoke to my employers on Friday and they have agreed that I can go back on 20th January.
I think I feel ready to go back and I'm confident of DP's ability as a SAHD, I'm just a little nervous about going back...is this normal??
Perhaps it's just that it was unexpected and was kind of thrown upon us (finances would not allow me any more maternity leave)
Was it difficult going back to work after maternity leave, especially when dd is still so young?
