Resigning after a few weeks back

Does anyone know if there are rules re resigining if you have only been back at work a few weeks after returning from Maternity leave? I only had SMP so nothing to pay back.

None at all. You just resign in the normal way giving whatever notice period is in your contract.

I've resigned 4 days after returning to work from last maternity leave, as I found better job in the meantime. Didn't even have to work much notice, as I had so much annual leave accrued.
