Due to funding it looks like there won't be the money to pay my salary when I go back. My boss essentially said even pro-rata for a few days they wouldn't be able to pay my salary as too much!
I haven't been there 2 years so no redundancy but I have 4 months notice in my contract. I am not due back until April next year and am currently on statutory maternity. My query is if they make me redundant say in Feb -when I am not at work - do they have to pay notice at my full salary or is it just the statutory maternity rate.
Also I saw on Dirctgov that my employer should continue to pay 'usual amount' into pension. That was 7.5% of salary - a few hundred quid - now they are paying 7.5% of statutory - less than a hundred, just want to check if anyone knows whether this is right
