I have turned up for work every day in this weather, my workplace has shut early or not opened at all, now they arte saying they won't pay me!! HELP FLOWERY!!

sorry for ridiculously long title, am hopping mad.

I made it into work, usually the only staff member who did and usually I was sent home or the place was shut.

now boss is saying I either work overtime to pay back the hours I missed or they won't pay me!!

surely this is wrong, I was willing to work, the place was closed thru no fault of my own, is there any law I can quote at them??

This would be an unauthorised deduction of wages, as in ShesEverSoFamous's thread. If you fulfil your contractual obligations by turning up willing to work, and your employer doesn't provide you with work, they must pay you. I posted a link about unauthorised deductions on the earlier thread I think, so have a look at that.
