Feeding BF baby expressed milk

Hi everyone!

I'm hoping you can help me.

My breast fed 3.5month old has stopped taking expressed milk from the bottle. I'm working 1 afternoon per week at the moment and want to return to 3 afternoons a week in January when she will be 5 months.

I'm thinking to try a soft spouted beaker. I'm unsure which brands to try.

She did drink expressed milk from a plastic cup the other day but I'd say for every bit she got twice that amount on her bib or neck so that isn't exactly a workable solution

Ideas, thoughts, suggestions, comments welcome

Please!

Julie

P.S. I have posted this on the breast / bottle feeding thread, apologies for the repetition, I'm just thinking I may get some different perspectives on this thread

Hi Julie,
Have you tried the 'Breastflow' bottle? It's available from Mothercare and is supposed to imitate the 'let-down' reflex like the breast. It was the only bottle that my baby would take when I started expressing.
Good luck :)

Hey thanks!

Another one to try for me!

Julie
