Asking for more hours/pay rise

I am fed up with working for a pittance. I only work 10 hrs per week spread over 2 days for considerably less than the minimum wage. I must stress that I wasn't told the wage until I started work and didnt ask at the interview because I assumed it would be the going rate. Sooooo....I would be £8 better off on the dole and having realised this I either want a pay rise to £5.05 per hour or more hours. I have asked for both before jokingly but he always said theres no way he will pay me more and there are no more hours, but I simply am not tolerating being used anymore!

If you are earning less than the minimum wage then your employer is breaking the law, so you should report them.

I know I should Tabs but I can't afford to lose this job. If I dont have this job I wouldn't be able to pay my bills.

You would if you went back on the dole because your employer is breaking the law!

but it takes months to be accepted and even then I may not be eligible. I hate the bloody government in this country!
